About Me
Welcome, one and all, to Grace Iolene. My name is Anna, and I am the resident writer and reader extraordinaire on this blog. :) Come on in and take a peek!
The name of this blog is my own name, basically. Anna, as you may or may not know, is derived from the Hebrew 'Hannah,' which means grace. Hence the first word. Iolene, on the other hand, is my middle name (pronounced the same as Eileen or however else you spell it). It's a family name, which accounts for the strange-ish spelling. :)
Another reason for naming the blog 'Grace' is explored partly in my blog 'description': Writing for His glory. His meaning God's glory. I'm a Christian and because of that, everything that I do should be to glorify God.
But writing is a special gift I have (kinda, anyways) that I can use to further His kingdom and to glorify Him. And God's grace is one of His most talked about and important attributes. Without it, we would not have salvation!

About Me
As you all have probably gathered, my name is Anna Iolene Pool. To introduce myself here are a few random facts:
- I'm fifteen
- I'm homeschooled
- I have three siblings
- I have a dog and ten chickens
- I live in Southern California - and was born in CA
- I'm an INTJ (which apparently is really uncommon for a girl to have)
- I love reading
- Favorite books = Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, First Century Diaries, Left Behind, Do Hard Things, Stepping Heavenward, and lots more! Seriously... I have a problem.
- I overuse parentheses (and ellipses... and probably emojis and the word 'Anyways') when I write blog posts and I'm working on cutting back on all of it. But it's so hard.
- My favorite color is aqua/turquoise, or somewhere in there
- I love horses - they're amazing.
- Favorite school subject(s) = history, reading, science
- Least favorite school subject(s) = math, grammar (except I'm done with grammar now!!)
That's probably not even the half of it, but it'll have to do!
