These are story ideas that I've barely thought about, but I just thought it would interesting to write them.
Orion Howe, 14 year old drummer boy in the battle of Vicksburg:

A story about the guy in Jack and the Beanstalk who sells Jack the magic beans:
I saw this one on Pinterest (there are some really cool ideas on there) and it really struck me as a fun story to write. For example: This guy has access to magic beans, which he either has no use for or so many of them that he can just dispose of them. And he wants a cow really badly. Why??
Pirate novel:
It's about a morally grey pirate captain who is cursed to die within five years for stealing some forbidden treasure, and only giving his/her heart to someone and expecting nothing back can break the curse. But rather than go on some journey to find some true love or whatever, they decide to use their last years to travel the seas with their crew and collect treasure and drink and be merry. On the day of reckoning, they are falling more and more ill, and their crew all gather around them to say goodbye to their captain when suddenly the curse is broken, because they gave their whole heart to their ship and their crew, and expected nothing.
(Also from Pinterest... Gave me the chills when I read it. The only problem, is I don't know how I could fit this into a God-honoring plot, seeing as they're "collecting treasure and drinking and being merry." But figured I'd put in on here and I'll ruminate about it.)
