Vindicta
Synopsis:
Julia is a gladiator who fights for the pleasure of Rome. Her father was brutally killed when she was young, and her one goal in life is to avenge him. When a slave-catcher - Julius - shows up to the gladiator camp, Julia begins to fear what he will do to her if he discovers he mother was a slave.
These fears are overrun, however, when she meets the apostle Paul, who is imprisoned in Rome. He confronts her about her desire for revenge, and it forces her to reevaluate her priorities. When Julius discovers the truth about her mother, Julia flees the compound. When he catches up with her, her greatest fear is realized, but not before she gets a chance to take her revenge.
Does she want to kill the man who killed her father? Or does she want to forgive him and gain what the Christians have - and at what cost?
